As the Asset Management Lead, you’ll be responsible for coordinating and overseeing care and maintenance activities across all phases of the project. You’ll ensure compliance with stringent quality standards and contractual requirements, safeguarding components against degradation and contamination in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the project Care & Maintenance Plan and Schedule.
- Coordinate and supervise preservation activities during delivery, storage, and post-installation phases.
- Ensure cleanliness classifications, zoning, and storage conditions are correctly applied.
- Manage inspection, preservation, and maintenance frequencies in line with contractual obligations.
- Oversee zone transfer control, segregation of cleanliness classes, and compliance with FME (Foreign Material Exclusion) provisions.
- Liaise with QA/QC, Stores, and Construction teams to maintain asset integrity.
- Verify environmental controls (humidity, temperature, protective covers) and take corrective action where needed.
- Maintain auditable records for lifetime quality documentation and handover.
- Support audits, surveillance, and inspections to ensure assets are fit for purpose at turnover.
Experience & Requirements
- Previous experience in care & maintenance, quality, or asset preservation within regulated sectors (nuclear, oil & gas, aerospace, or similar).
- Strong background in managing cleanliness and preservation controls aligned with high-integrity standards.
- Engineering or technical qualification (Mechanical, Welding, Quality) – HNC or above preferred.
- CCNSG Safety Passport (mandatory).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with document management systems (Teamcenter, Proarc, SharePoint, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of cleanliness requirements and care & maintenance obligations in regulated environments.
