Carbon60 is looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager to support the successful handover and completion of a new build low‑rise housing scheme based in Rotherham.

THE ROLE
The successful candidate will oversee the final stages and handover process of a fast‑paced new build residential housing project, ensuring all units are completed to the required standards within programme deadlines. The role is suited to an experienced Site Manager with strong knowledge of NHBC requirements, LABC regulations, and certification processes involved in handing over new build housing developments. The project involves the delivery and handover of approximately 30 units during July and August within an aggressive programme schedule.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage day-to-day site operations across the new build housing scheme
- Ensure all works are completed in line with NHBC, LABC, and company quality standards
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and site activities to achieve programme deadlines
- Oversee snagging, inspections, and handover processes for completed units
- Maintain strict Health & Safety compliance across site operations
- Liaise with internal teams, contractors, inspectors, and stakeholders professionally
- Ensure all certification and compliance documentation is completed accurately
- Monitor site progress and proactively resolve operational or quality issues
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, professionalism, and site management
- Support the successful delivery of units within a fast‑paced construction environment

- First Aid Certification
- Fire Marshal Certification
- Asbestos Awareness
- Previous experience managing new build housing developments
