Project Supervisor (Nights)- Fixed Term Contract – Facilities Management- Stevenage, England – £50,000 DOE

A Fantastic opportunity has arisen to join one of the largest Facilities Management companies, based in the UK.

Hours of work: 5pm to 2am – Nights

Location – Stevenage, England

Salary: £50,000 DOE

12-month Fixed Term Contract

Role Responsibilities:

Monitor the progress of projects to an agreed time and standard of delivery.

Assist delivery of projects through effective communication, ensuring that the staff members are fully competent and trained to undertake key tasks linked to service level agreements and key performance indicators.

Monitor the safety performance of all supply chain activities on site, identifying areas for improvement and co-ordinate and/or manage supply chain on a day-to-day basis.

Manage the preparation and submission for approval all appropriate Safe Systems of Work and Risk Assessments.

Provide regular project updates to Management team, maintaining day to day contact with the Project Manager attending meetings as necessary, support the Project Manager, providing information necessary to establish financial completion of accounts.

Identify and implement operational improvements to ensure continued provision of high-quality service.

Raising permits to work and carrying out walk around with the Permit to Work Office

Co-ordinate labour, plant, and materials necessary to complete the task safe and timely fashion.

The Ideal Candidate:

The ability to establish, implement and monitor high standards of excellence in areas of quality, safety, and operational performance.

Electrical qualifications preferred. 236 pt. 1 and 2. 18th edition.

SMSTS / SSSTS, CSCS Supervisor (minimum)

IOSH Managing Safely (preferred)

NVQ Level 3 in construction supervision, higher or equivalent.

Good all-round knowledge of site management disciplines i.e. Electrical, Mechanical and Building and Civil Engineering.

Extensive experience in a construction project environment.

Be resilient under pressure and be able to converse confidently with staff, suppliers, and customers at all levels.
