About the Company - Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services complete maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of landing gear components that come out of Heathrow for various aeroplane makes and models.
About the Role - The MRO Project Manager is responsible for Commercial Control of MRO event. There will be close work with the Product Line team, Operations, Planning, Billing and Engineering to ensure complete contract fulfilment with superior results in customer satisfaction.
- Support in coordinating schedule changes with the Planning team.
- Provide feedback regarding the overhaul event status to the Account Manager (e.g. planned delivery, scrap material, cost) and Customer Support Specialist.
- Initiate actions/projects to improve the overall profitability and follow-up on implementation with responsible parties.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.
- Experience working with technical records or airline CAMO / part management processes.
- Excellent ability to analyse figures and financial reviews.
- Ability to read and understand customer contracts/specifications and put in place action plans for contract adherence.
- Good IT skills with the use of standard Microsoft packages.
- Proven experience of using MRP / ERP data systems (SAP / AMOS etc.)
Pay range and compensation package - up to £45,000 maximum. Monday to Friday 38-hour week with some overtime may be required.
