Carbon60 are working with a long-established, fast-growing interiors specialist to recruit a Senior Estimator / Project Manager for a key leadership role based in Plymouth. This business is a leading player in the commercial and education fit-out sector, known for delivering innovative, high-quality projects across the South of England.

The Role:

  • We are looking for an estimator who has experience in project management.
  • You will work across multiple fast-paced refurbishment and interior fit-out projects across the South of England.
  • Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial performance and project success, leading a small team of estimators and PMs while acting as the main client point of contact post-sale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates including labour, materials, and subcontractor pricing.
  • Analyse drawings and project documentation, liaise with clients and design teams.
  • Lead projects from estimating through to delivery, ensuring timelines, budget and quality expectations are met.
  • Manage project schedules, progress, budgets, change orders and closeout documentation.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of 3 estimators/project managers.
  • Conduct site visits and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven background in estimating and delivering interior fit-out/refurbishment projects (commercial or education).
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project delivery best practices.
  • Previous leadership or team management experience is highly desirable.
  • SMSTS.
  • Proficiency in estimating and project management software (e.g., ProEst, PlanSwift, MS Project).
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

The Package:

  • Basic salary up to £60,000.
  • £6,000 Car Allowance.
  • Discretionary profit share bonus.
  • 23 days holiday + bank holidays.
