Pipe Fitter TIG Welder - Process Pipework Skelmersdale, WN8 9PS. 52 Hours Monday - Friday 7.00am - 17.30pm 6 months work.
Our client is a leading engineering service provider in specialist hygienic mechanical and electrical systems, working almost exclusively in the food, dairy, beverage, pharmaceutical and personal care industries. The company is synonymous with the highest standards of quality and service with an established record of delivering innovative process solutions that improve productivity and reduce manufacturing costs for a wide variety of clients including Nestle, Coca Cola, Arla, Gaymers Cider, GlaxoSmithKline and Unilever.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Pipe fitter TIG Welder - Process Pipework, to join the company's on site operation supporting a new build project in Skelmersdale.
Duties:
- Working on site at a food production facility in Skelmersdale, WN8 9PS.
- Fabricating and butt welding 1' to 4' OD thin wall stainless steel pipework, with a small amount of schedule 10 stainless steel pipework up to 4' diameter along with carbon steel up to 6'.
- Fabricating brackets and associated supports.
- Assisting other pipe fitter welders as necessary.
About you:
- Ideally based in Lancashire, living within a commutable distance of WN8 9PS.
- Demonstrable experience of pipe-fitting and stainless steel TIG butt welding within a food, drink or petrochemical processing environment is essential.
- Good all round welding experience with current or previous coding's to back this up.
- Must have air fed mask, welding plant, workbench and a good selection of hand and power tools.
- Minimum CSCS or CCNSG.
