Our client, a leading aerospace manufacturing company specialising in mission-critical helicopter fuel systems and safety equipment, is seeking an experienced Senior HSE Advisor to join their team on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HSE professional to make an immediate impact within a highly regulated manufacturing environment. Due to the imminent departure of the current postholder, we are looking to appoint someone as soon as possible.
- Ensure compliance with UK Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and company standards.
- Lead and support audits, inspections and workplace monitoring activities.
- Manage risk assessments, COSHH assessments and safe systems of work.
- Support incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Maintain HSE records, reporting systems and compliance documentation.
- Conduct shop floor inspections, behavioural observations and workforce engagement activities.
- Deliver practical HSE guidance and support to operational teams.
- Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the site.
NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum requirement). Previous experience within manufacturing, engineering, aerospace or similar industrial environments. Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation. Experience conducting risk assessments and incident investigations. Immediate start available. Initial 3-month contract with potential extension. Flexible engagement through an hourly or daily rate.
