Working Hours: 43 hours per week

Pay Rate: Up to Β£35.00 per hour, depending on experience

About Role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical installation works on a new-build school project in Portsmouth. You will be responsible for supervising electricians on site, making sure electrical work is completed safely, correctly, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise electrical installation works on the new-build school.
  • Manage and coordinate electricians and subcontractors on site.
  • Check that work is completed to the required quality and standards.
  • Ensure all electrical works follow Health & Safety requirements.
  • Read and work from electrical drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate electrical works with other trades and site teams.
  • Monitor progress and report any issues to the Site Manager/Project Manager.
  • Carry out regular checks and help with snagging and completion works.
  • Maintain good communication with the site team.

Requirements

  • Minimum Approved Electrician grade.
  • Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor.
  • Experience working on construction/new-build projects.
  • Good knowledge of electrical installation works.
  • Able to supervise and manage electrical teams.
  • Good understanding of site Health & Safety.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS – required.
  • First Aid – required.
