About Role
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical installation works on a new-build school project in Portsmouth. You will be responsible for supervising electricians on site, making sure electrical work is completed safely, correctly, and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise electrical installation works on the new-build school.
- Manage and coordinate electricians and subcontractors on site.
- Check that work is completed to the required quality and standards.
- Ensure all electrical works follow Health & Safety requirements.
- Read and work from electrical drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate electrical works with other trades and site teams.
- Monitor progress and report any issues to the Site Manager/Project Manager.
- Carry out regular checks and help with snagging and completion works.
- Maintain good communication with the site team.
Requirements
- Minimum Approved Electrician grade.
- Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor.
- Experience working on construction/new-build projects.
- Good knowledge of electrical installation works.
- Able to supervise and manage electrical teams.
- Good understanding of site Health & Safety.
- SSSTS or SMSTS – required.
- First Aid – required.
