Job Summary
We are seeking skilled Production Operatives with proven experience in electronic assembly to work on the assembly and test of electrical systems for the defence sector. Due to the nature of the work you should be eligible for SC level security clearance.
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm, and 8am to 1pm on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble units / PCBs (including soldering) in accordance with detailed work instruction sheets, customer specific drawings and specifications
- Verify that routings and detailed Work Instruction Sheets are been followed for all activities
- Ensure compliance to the Company\’s Health and Safety and Environmental procedures
- Become proficient in relevant procedures and processes
- Apply a professional and conscious approach in your day-to-day operation
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in PCB or electronic assembly in a manufacturing environment
- Soldering and wiring skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work from technical documentation and follow precise instructions.
- Familiarity with ESD-safe working practices.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
