Carbon60 is looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work for one of the leading companies based in Worcestershire.
ROLE: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
PAY RATE: £22p/h PAYE / £27.50 umbrella
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, 40 hours/week
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical building services
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and reactive maintenance requests
- Assist with minor installation, upgrades, and adaptation works
- Perform systematic fault finding on mechanical systems
- Complete job cards, maintenance records, and documentation accurately
- Participate in on-call rota and undertake Authorised Person duties where required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities environment
- NVQ Level 3 in Maintenance Services or equivalent
- Experience working on mechanical systems (heating, water, ventilation)
- Pipe fitting experience
Note: This role involves joining an overnight on-call rota (10 PM–6 AM, 1 week in 5). Extra pay is provided once fully trained.
