Pipe fitter Welder - TIG Stainless Steel
4 Month + Contract Position - Monday - Friday 7.00am - 4.30pm paid 10hrs per day.
The company is a UK leading organisation specialising in major mechanical and electrical installations within the food processing industry. The huge range of work carried out by the company includes process pipework and plant installations, planned and preventive maintenance, environmental services and many other engineering services associated with the food and beverage industry.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a pipe fitter TIG welder to join the mechanical engineering division, supporting a process pipework and plant installation project in Milton Keynes, MK17 8FL.
DutiesAs a suitably qualified and experienced pipe fitter TIG welder you will be working on site at a drink manufacturing facility in Milton Keynes, MK17 8FL. The majority of work will be either schedule 40 carbon or schedule 10/40 stainless along with some thin wall metric stainless pipework, 2mm wall thickness. Other duties will include fabricating brackets and associated supports along with assisting other pipe fitter welders as necessary.
About YouBased ideally in Buckinghamshire you will need to live within a commutable distance of MK17 8FL. Demonstrable experience of fabricating and TIG welding stainless steel and carbon steel pipework within a food, drink or petrochemical processing environment is essential. You'll also need to have good all round welding experience with current or previous TIG pipe coding's a definite advantage.
