Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Are you a skilled and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician looking to join a dynamic, forward-thinking company? This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of a leading organisation in the chemical industry.
The Role:
As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the diverse range of equipment at the company's 32-acre site. Your key duties will include:
- Responding to plant breakdowns to diagnose and resolve mechanical faults
- Performing routine preventative maintenance tasks as per the scheduled programme
- Contributing to equipment reliability improvements through failure analysis and root cause investigations
- Ensuring all maintenance activities are accurately recorded in the computerised maintenance management system
Requirements:
The ideal Mechanical Maintenance Technician will have:
- Completed a recognised Mechanical Maintenance Apprenticeship and attained NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Extensive experience working on process plants, preferably in the chemical or oil and gas industry
- Strong health and safety awareness, with knowledge of permit to work and lock-out tag-out procedures
- Proficiency in using computerised maintenance management systems, such as SAP PM
