Carbon60 is looking to recruit experienced Plasterers to carry out maintenance and repair work across commercial and public sector buildings in the Manchester area.

ROLE: Plasterer

PAY RATE: £28.00 per hour (Umbrella)

CONTRACT TYPE: Ongoing Contract

LOCATION: Manchester Area

THE ROLE: The Plasterer will support the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance across a range of facilities, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard. The role involves a variety of internal and external plastering duties, supporting both responsive repair tasks and larger maintenance projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Carry out general plastering work including skimming, rendering, bonding, and patch repairs
  • Repair and replace plasterboard to walls and ceilings
  • Prepare and finish surfaces to a high standard
  • Assist with damp proofing and DPC systems where required
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with quality specifications
  • Maintain company tools, equipment, and van in good condition
  • Complete job documentation accurately and on time
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional conduct on-site

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a plasterer in maintenance, construction, or refurbishment environments
  • Good knowledge of health and safety procedures
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Professional, reliable, and self-motivated approach

DESIRABLE:

  • Experience working within occupied buildings or healthcare/public facilities
  • Basic understanding of multi-trade tasks
