Carbon60 is recruiting for an experienced Joiner to support repairs and maintenance works across residential and communal properties in the Manchester area.

ROLE: Joiner

PAY RATE: £23.00 – £26.00 per hour (Umbrella)

CONTRACT TYPE: Ongoing Contract

LOCATION: Manchester area

WORKING PATTERN: Full-time, Monday to Friday

VAN PROVIDED: Yes - home to business use only

THE ROLE: The Joiner will carry out a wide range of joinery repairs and maintenance works in line with statutory regulations, company policies, and SHEQ requirements. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality workmanship, ensuring first-time fixes wherever possible, and maintaining excellent customer service standards across all sites. The role requires professionalism, strong health & safety awareness, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Replacement and rehanging of internal and external doors
  • Repair and replacement of locking mechanisms
  • Repair/replace kitchen units and worktops
  • Repair/replace floors and carcassing
  • Repair/replace UPVC and aluminium windows and doors
  • Installation of skirtings, architraves, and capping
  • Studwork, staircases, and roof timber repairs
  • Ensure compliance with specifications and workmanship standards
  • Maintain tools, van, and equipment in good condition
  • Complete accurate documentation in a timely manner
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and head office as required
  • Maintain clean and tidy working areas
  • Follow all Health & Safety, SHEQ, and company procedures

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Up-to-date industry knowledge and relevant joinery experience
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Professional and customer-focused approach
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
