Rotation: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 12 Months + Likely Extension

Rate: £850 per day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella)

Clearance: BPSS + Medical Questionnaire + Proof of Right to Work in the UK

Are you an experienced Senior Authorised Person (SAP) ready to take on a high-impact role in the offshore wind sector? We’re looking for a skilled professional to ensure electrical safety and deliver critical isolations and safety documentation under client Electrical Safety Rules.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as SAP, reporting to the Lead SAP, ensuring safe working practices and compliance with HV safety rules.
  • Produce and review switching schedules.
  • Carry out isolations, earthing, and issue safety documents.
  • Support testing and commissioning of HV/LV systems.
  • Promote a positive Health & Safety culture through audits, risk assessments, and incident reporting.
  • Provide personal supervision when required.

What We’re Looking For

  • Essential: Previous offshore windfarm experience and 66kV authorisation.
  • Full GWO certifications: Sea Survival, First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, Working at Heights.
  • Offshore medical certificate (including Chester Step) + HUET.
  • Knowledge of WTG WTSR and Electrical Safety Rules.
  • ONC/HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
  • Current SAP authorisation to 66kV or above (will also consider 33kV SAPs with multi-feed experience).
