Our client is a leading business in the design and delivery of custom subsea systems and instruments for some of the most demanding industries—Energy, Ocean Science, Defence, and Offshore Renewables. They are looking for a Project Manager who has proven experience in overseeing the design and manufacturing of high value, low volume products.

Main Responsibilities

  • Own the project lifecycle – from planning and resourcing to delivery
  • Create and implement Project Management Plans with clear scope, milestones, and budgets
  • Lead gateway reviews, manage risks, and ensure compliance with ISO9001
  • Liaise directly with customers and stakeholders to guarantee satisfaction
  • Support bids with work breakdowns, schedules, and budgets
  • Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and team development

Experience

  • Proven project management expertise in an engineering environment
  • Strong leadership, delegation, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication – confident with customers and stakeholders
  • Degree in Engineering (BSc/BEng) or equivalent
  • Project management certification (APM PMQ, PRINCE2 or similar)
  • Experience managing low-volume bespoke engineering solutions
  • Knowledge of harsh environment design and integration projects
