Location: Offshore (Mobilise from Northeast)
Working Pattern: 12 Hours Days / Day & Night Shifts as Required
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 12 Months + Likely Extension
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing safety from the system under client HV safety rules by delivering robust operational control and documentation offshore.
- Deliver SAP duties as required, reporting to the Lead SAP.
- Carry out isolations, earthing, and issue/manage safety documents.
- Produce and review switching schedules to support planned works.
- Provide isolations and safety documentation to enable offshore project delivery.
- Work in line with client High Voltage safety rules (aligned to distribution‑style safety rules).
- Support testing and commissioning of HV/LV systems.
- Provide personal supervision where required to ensure safe execution.
- Conduct and review Point of Work Risk Assessments, and contribute to RAMS quality.
- Promote a strong H&S culture through risk assessments, audits, incident reporting, and proactive safety leadership.
What you’ll bring (essential):
- Proven 400kV SAP experience (essential).
- Current SAP authorisation to 400kV or above.
- Strong working knowledge of Electrical Safety Rules.
- ONC/HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.
- GWO certifications.
- Full UK working rights.
- Full UK driving licence.
