Contract Opportunity: SPEN Authorised Electrical Commissioning Engineer (HV)

We’re supporting a busy delivery phase on SPEN network works and need an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer who can hit the ground running.

Contract: 2–3 months Outside IR35 Ltd Co

Rate: £800/day (all in rate)

Location: Merseyside, NW UK, site-based

Start: ASAP / short notice preferred

What you’ll be doing:

  • HV commissioning and supporting energisation activities
  • Working to approved test plans/procedures and safety rules
  • Coordinating with project/construction/control room teams
  • Completing test records, commissioning packs and handover docs
  • Fault finding and close-out support

Essentials:

  • Current SPEN authorisation codes relevant to commissioning/switching
  • Strong background in UK transmission/distribution commissioning
  • Excellent safety culture and documentation standards
  • Able to work autonomously in a fast-paced site environment
  • Full UK Working Rights
