Are you ready to lead commissioning on one of the most exciting offshore wind projects in the UK?

We’re looking for a Lead SAP to take charge of mechanical and electrical commissioning across onshore and offshore substations, export cables, and array cabling. You’ll be the driving force behind safe, efficient, and high-quality execution—both on land and at sea.

This is a senior-level role with real impact. You’ll work closely with EPC contractors, commissioning engineers, and project teams to shape the delivery of transmission assets before they even leave the yard. From ABB SCADA integration to managing multi-disciplinary teams, this is your chance to lead from the front.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee commissioning activities across transmission assets
  • Lead teams of engineers, supervisors, and technicians
  • Ensure compliance with HSE, QA/QC, and project standards
  • Manage RAMS, HAZOP/HAZID studies, and permit systems
  • Coordinate ABB SCADA integration with operator platforms
  • Represent the client and JV at local level with professionalism

🎯 What You’ll Bring

  • Full GWO certifications + OGUK/RUK Medical & Chester Step
  • HNC/HND or equivalent in engineering (ideally electrical)
  • 5+ years in offshore wind construction, commissioning, or operations
  • Experience as SAP or Electrical Engineer at 400kV+
  • Strong leadership, planning, and stakeholder management skills
  • BPSS clearance (DBS, financial probity, employment history)
  • Proof of Right to Work in the UK
