About the Role
As an Engine Mechanic/ Technician, you will be responsible for a wide range of maintenance and repair activities within the company's busy workshop. This is a key role that will involve working closely with the Team Leaders and Workshop Manager to ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standards and in a timely manner.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Performing maintenance and repair work on various engine types, including CFM56, LEAP, V2500, RB211, CF6, CF34, PW4000, PW1000G and Trent700
- Adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintaining excellent organisational and communication skills
- Demonstrating a flexible and adaptable approach to your work
- Promoting a safe and efficient working environment
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate for this Engine Mechanic/ Technician role will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Time-served aerospace industry apprenticeship with a minimum of 2 years' post-apprenticeship experience
- Previous experience working in a busy engine shop on the engine types listed above
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Knowledge of engine shop manuals and associated manuals, including relevant ATA chapters
- Aware of Part 145 and FAA regulations
- A previously held company approval on at least one of the engine types above
