We are seeking an experienced Site Construction Supervisor to support the onsite delivery of complex civil, structural and foundation works for an onshore renewable energy project in Inverness. This is a site‑focused role for someone who enjoys being close to the work, leading safely, and coordinating complex construction activity from the ground up.
As part of a wider project delivery team, you will provide day‑to‑day supervision of defined construction scopes within large infrastructure or energy projects. You will act as the on‑site lead for safety, quality and coordination, working closely with contractors, consultants and internal teams to manage interfaces and keep work progressing in line with agreed plans.
You will bring practical construction insight into both delivery and pre‑construction activities, helping ensure projects are buildable, well‑sequenced and effectively controlled. The role involves regular reporting, proactive issue management and strong collaboration with multiple stakeholders and is suited to a seasoned civil supervisor with a strong background in large infrastructure, energy, utilities or power sector construction projects.
- Leading and supervising on‑site construction activities across one or more workstreams or defined scopes
- Championing a strong safety, environmental and quality culture on site
- Coordinating contractors, suppliers and consultants to manage interfaces and dependencies
- Monitoring progress, quality and compliance through inspections, audits and site reviews
- Building trusted working relationships with internal teams, supply chain partners and external stakeholders
A recognised construction, engineering or trade‑based supervisory qualification, supported by formal site safety training appropriate to leading live construction environments.
Proven experience supervising significant construction scopes or workstreams on infrastructure or energy projects specifically in the delivery of complex civil, structural and foundation works.
Experience working within medium to large, multi‑disciplinary delivery teams, managing interfaces in the best interests of the project.
Strong working knowledge of safe systems of work, quality inspection processes and site assurance activities.
A practical understanding of how major projects are planned and delivered, including programme, cost, risk and quality considerations.
Confidence using digital tools for site reporting and documentation.
Clear, professional communication skills and a track record of building effective relationships.
