Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment, leading teams and shaping strategies to maximise profitability? We’re looking for a Head of Commercial to join our senior leadership team and play a pivotal role in our continued success. What You’ll Be Doing: As Head of Commercial, you will: Drive Strategy: Collaborate with Directors to develop and deliver strategic plans, budgets, forecasts, and a five-year growth roadmap. Leadership: Provide leadership across commercial and people matters, ensuring effective management of contracts and profitability. Pre-Contract Activities: Oversee tenders, governance, order reviews, negotiations, and estimating. Risk Management: Work with Operations and Procurement teams to identify risks, mitigate them, and maximise opportunities. Build Relationships: Foster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the business’s long-term objectives. Market Insight: Monitor industry changes that could impact strategy, adapting approaches to ensure resilience. Control Environment: Ensure robust controls are in place to manage risks, opportunities, and profitability across the business unit. What We’re Looking For: We’d love to hear from you if you have: Experience in a similar senior commercial role. Proven expertise in leading complex, high-value contract negotiations. A strong background in Commercial Management, including FM, Project, and Framework Contracts. Professional qualifications as a Quantity Surveyor or similar. Exceptional numeracy skills, with the ability to review and analyse CVRs, P&Ls, and forecasts effectively. Experience in reviewing and mitigating risks in complex contractual arrangements.
