As a Production Operative, you will play an essential role in assembling, testing, and assuring the quality of advanced electrical systems used within defence technology. You will be part of a highly skilled team working on innovative products that support critical national security projects.
Hours of work are 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 1pm on Fridays. Security clearance is required for this role - please contact me for further information.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and assemble units and PCBs-including soldering-following detailed Work Instruction Sheets, customer drawings, and specifications
- Work with a high level of accuracy and quality, with the ability to work to IPC standards
- Ensure all routings and Work Instruction Sheets are followed correctly throughout all production activities
- Maintain full compliance with company Health & Safety and Environmental procedures
- Develop proficiency in relevant assembly methods, production processes, and quality procedures
- Demonstrate a professional, diligent, and quality‑focused approach to daily tasks
- Background in electronic assembly, production, or hands‑on manufacturing
- Ability to work to IPC standards and willingness to undertake training if required
- Competent soldering skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise technical instructions
- Proactive, reliable, and committed to high manufacturing standards
