An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fuel Systems Engineer to join the development team of a leading aerospace organisation on a long‑term contract basis. The role focuses on continued airworthiness and product development within complex aircraft systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting equipment qualification activities, including review of supplier design evolution sheets, specification updates, and equipment qualification
- Providing production support to resolve test failures and contribute to improvement projects
- Supporting development modifications, including system updates, performance changes, and equipment evolutions
- Investigating in‑service issues, including major in‑service problems, safety‑related items, and requests for work
Essential Experience & Skills
- Background in aerospace or aviation engineering
- Avionic or fuel systems experience
- Strong understanding of system design principles, verification and validation
- Experience working with real‑time system control tools such as MATLAB, Simulink and Stateflow
- Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
