Electrician in Exeter

Approved Electrician – Exeter
3‑month contract (likely extension) | 37 hrs/week | to start asap.
We are looking for an Approved Electrician to support compliance works across industrial and commercial sites (quarries, breweries, NHS estates) throughout Devon and the South West for a reputable Mechanical and Electrical company.
What you\’ll do:
Electrical inspection & testing (BS7671)
Emergency lighting testing
Remedial works based on reports
Travel directly to sites across the South West
What\’s on offer:
Van, fuel card, PPE & specialist tools provided
Hotels covered when staying away (rare) + meal allowance
Overtime available (1.5x / 2x rates)
Monday-Friday with occasional weekend shutdown work
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 + AM2 (or full apprenticeship)
18th Edition
ECS Card
Strong commercial/industrial experience
Desirable but not essential:
2391 Inspection & Testing
First Aid / Asbestos Awareness
Recent Basic DBS
