About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Equipment Workshop Coordinator to oversee the management and coordination of role-specific equipment within a dynamic aerospace maintenance environment. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the availability, serviceability, and compliance of critical equipment to support operational readiness and mission success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the equipment workshop, ensuring all assets are maintained to the highest standards.
- Track equipment lifecycle, manage spares, and resolve defects using digital tools and maintenance data systems.
- Interpret and apply technical publications to ensure compliance with regulated maintenance practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure readiness for deployment and exercise tasking.
- Report on key performance indicators and contribute to planning and operational briefings.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with operational requirements.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- In-depth knowledge of survival and/or role equipment maintenance and servicing.
- Demonstrable experience in equipment tracking and digital maintenance systems.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical documentation and adhering to regulated procedures.
- Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and process compliance.
- Effective communicator with the ability to build trust across teams and stakeholders.
- Decisive and adaptable, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
