Summary: As a Production Operative, you will play an essential role in assembling, testing, and assuring the quality of advanced electrical systems used within defence technology. You will be part of a highly skilled team working on innovative products that support critical national security projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble units and PCBs—including soldering—following detailed Work Instruction Sheets, customer drawings, and specifications.
- Work with a high level of accuracy and quality, with the ability to work to IPC standards (e.g., IPC‑A‑610 for electronic assembly).
- Ensure all routings and Work Instruction Sheets are followed correctly throughout all production activities.
- Maintain full compliance with company Health & Safety and Environmental procedures.
- Develop proficiency in relevant assembly methods, production processes, and quality procedures.
- Demonstrate a professional, diligent, and quality‑focused approach to daily tasks.
Skills & Attributes:
- Background in electronic assembly, production, or hands‑on manufacturing.
- Ability to work to IPC standards and willingness to undertake training if required.
- Competent soldering skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise technical instructions.
- Proactive, reliable, and committed to high manufacturing standards.
