Construction Manager – Energy Sector | SW England | Permanent

Ready to lead construction on one of the UK’s most exciting energy projects? We’re seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our client’s team in South West England on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is your opportunity to drive quality, safety, and efficiency on site, managing complex piping installations and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to keep projects on track.

What You’ll Do

• Support the Site/Project Manager in day-to-day site operations and client reporting.
• Lead construction activities, including small and large bore piping systems.
• Manage sub-contractors, ensuring compliance with health & safety standards and contract requirements.
• Oversee risk management, reporting, and contract administration.
• Collaborate across disciplines to maintain timelines and quality standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience managing construction activities on large-scale infrastructure or energy projects.
• Hands-on expertise with piping systems – installation, testing, commissioning.
• Familiarity with NEC or similar contract administration.
• Professional certifications (CSCS, SMSTS, IOSH Managing Safely).
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project tools (Primavera P6, MS Project).

The Details

• Location: SW England (site-based)
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 38 hours/week
• Clearance: Full UK working rights + SC clearance (or ability to obtain)
