Progress Monitoring and Reporting

  • Track progress against plan, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Provide clear daily and weekly reporting to the Site Manager.
  • Support change management, NCR resolution, and documentation control processes.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Represent my client professionally during coordination meetings and site walkdowns.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Level 6 Construction Management and/or Level 7 Senior Construction Management qualification (or equivalent).
  • Proven background leading mechanical and piping installation on large‑scale industrial or energy projects
  • Leadership experience managing construction operations in a complex, multi‑contractor environment.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and installation best practice.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with nuclear safety culture, quality standards, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Relevant trade or engineering qualification (HNC/HND or degree preferred).

Skills & Attributes

Technical Skills

  • Solid understanding of piping systems (small and large bore), installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Knowledge of CDM and UK health & safety legislation.
