Are you a skilled aerospace industry professional with a passion for engine maintenance and repair? This company is seeking an experienced Engine Mechanic/ Technician to join their dynamic team in Stansted.

About the Role

As an Engine Mechanic/ Technician, you will be responsible for a wide range of maintenance and repair activities within the company's busy workshop. This is a key role that will involve working closely with the Team Leaders and Workshop Manager to ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standards and in a timely manner.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Performing maintenance and repair work on various engine types, including CFM56, LEAP, V2500, RB211, CF6, CF34, PW4000, PW1000G and Trent700
  • Adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Maintaining excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Demonstrating a flexible and adaptable approach to your work
  • Promoting a safe and efficient working environment

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate for this Engine Mechanic/ Technician role will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Time-served aerospace industry apprenticeship with a minimum of 2 years' post-apprenticeship experience
  • Previous experience working in a busy engine shop on the engine types listed above
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of engine shop manuals and associated manuals, including relevant ATA chapters
  • Aware of Part 145 and FAA regulations
  • A previously held company approval on at least one of the engine types above
