An established facilities management provider is seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead the delivery of hard FM services within a live healthcare environment. This role has overall responsibility for the effective management of planned and reactive maintenance across M&E, building fabric and grounds, ensuring statutory compliance, safety, and service continuity. You will manage in‑house and subcontracted engineering resources, oversee CAFM systems and asset data, control operational budgets, and lead compliance reporting within a highly regulated setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of PPM and reactive maintenance across multi‑disciplinary estates services
  • Manage CAFM systems, asset registers, statutory inspections and compliance reporting
  • Control operational revenue budgets and produce client and performance reports
  • Oversee subcontractor performance, SLAs and specialist service providers
  • Actively contribute to health & safety, quality assurance and audit readiness
  • Support lifecycle planning, energy initiatives and on‑call management arrangements

Essential Experience

  • Strong background in hard FM or estates operations within complex environments
  • Competency in CAFM systems and statutory compliance management
  • Proven leadership of engineering teams and subcontract supply chains

Desirable

  • Previously held Authorised Person (AP) – Electrical and/or Ventilation
  • Experience within NHS, PFI or long‑term healthcare FM contracts
  • Background in multi‑disciplinary estates or senior hard FM leadership roles
