Carbon60 seeks a talented Design Quality Engineer to join their dynamic client based in Broughton. As a Design Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving and delivering improvement projects to support the achievement of the company\’s quality targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and deliver improvement projects to support the achievement of the Engineering Wing quality targets.
  • Facilitate and support root cause analysis and practical problem‑solving activities.
  • Establish and drive corrective and preventive action plans to improve engineering quality performance and associated deliverables.
  • Identify risks and issues related to the quality of engineering deliverables, and facilitate, support, and drive standardized mitigation plans.
  • Support the deployment of quality standards and apply them within the Engineering organisation.

Required Qualifications

  • Relevant quality and/or engineering experience
  • Project management knowledge
  • Understanding of failure modes effects analysis and root cause analysis techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office

Desirable Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management and Product Data Management Systems
  • Understanding of engineering drawing and modification management
  • Experience in a design or manufacturing engineering environment
  • Ability to communicate in German (verbal and written)
  • Programming experience (JavaScript, Google Apps Script, Python)
