Location : Broughton, on-site requirement

Contract Duration : Until December 2026 (Inside IR35)

Pay Rate : Up to £52.00 per hour Umbrella (PAYE equivalent available)

Hours : Standard 35 hours per week

Role Overview

A leading aerospace engineering organisation is seeking a Design Concession Approver (Lead Design Engineer) to join their team in Broughton. The successful candidate will provide engineering expertise to ensure the delivery of high-quality wing components to final assembly lines. This role is integral to identifying improvements, conducting investigations, and delivering technical solutions for structural and systems modifications, with a focus on cost, rate, and quality enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design investigations and formulate technical solutions for manufacturing non-conformances and design investigations, ensuring all design, airworthiness, and safety requirements are met.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Operate as a lead design engineer and hold (or have previously held) design approval signatory status, particularly for manufacturing non-conformances (T200).
