Positions Glossop, SK13 1QH 3 Month contract position - Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5.30pm.
This will lead to other work.
The company is a UK leading, multi disciplined engineering firm specialising in major mechanical and electrical installations within the food processing industry.
The huge range of work carried out by the company includes process pipework and plant installations, planned and preventive maintenance, environmental services and many other engineering services associated with the food and beverage industry.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a general labourer to join the mechanical engineering division, supporting a process pipework and plant installation project in Glossop, Derbyshire.
Duties As a suitably experienced general labourer you will working on site at a manufacturing facility in Glossop, Derbyshire.
Typical duties will include assisting pipefitters to move pipework into position prior to installation.
Working alongside mechanical fitters to fit machine guards, rails and secondary steel work.
Other duties will include making up brackets and pipe supports before fixing into position, along with general fitting, painting, site clearance and labouring duties as instructed by the project engineer.
About You Based ideally in Glossop you will need to live within a commutable distance of SK13 1QH.
No travel or accommodation costs are paid with this role.
Demonstrable experience of general labouring with a strong construction or engineering background is essential for this role.
CSCS or Equivalent is essential.
