A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Conformance Engineer to join a leading aerospace organisation on a long‑term contract basis. This role sits within a major industrial and quality development environment, supporting complex manufacturing operations and ensuring high levels of product conformity and process excellence.
You’ll be working in a fast‑paced engineering environment, looking at preventative quality methods, supporting aircraft modifications, and driving APQP methodologies across production.
Key Responsibilities- Apply and deploy APQP and Quality Standards.
- Support and facilitate FMEA across Design, Process & Machine disciplines.
- Create and update Control Plans (CPs) to reflect modifications.
- Plan and execute Production Process Verification (PPV) activities.
- Lead Cost of Non‑Quality forecasting and support corrective actions.
- Provide lineside support during Start of Production phases.
- Support Key Characteristic (KC) and Critical Item (CTI) cascade activities.
- Ensure strong quality input into risk, planning and multi‑functional reviews.
- Focus on Production Organisation Approvals (POA) to maintain product safety.
- Strong experience within aerospace, aeronautical or a transferable industry (automotive considered).
- Solid background in quality engineering, APQP, FMEA, PPV or similar.
- Ability to work proactively on preventative quality methods and process improvement.
- Comfortable working onsite in an industrial engineering environment.
