Pipe Fitter - Pharmaceutical Leek, Staffordshire, ST13 5QJ | 6 Month Contract | Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5.30pm | £30.00 - £32.00 per hour CIS
Our client is a leading UK provider of critical engineering services, supporting customers across infrastructure, process and digital environments.
The business designs, installs, maintains and improves facilities, machinery, automation and control systems for complex and regulated sectors including food and beverage, aerospace, defence, utilities and manufacturing.
They focus on safety, reliability, productivity, energy efficiency and sustainability, delivering integrated mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation solutions to help clients maintain continuity and improve operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Work on site at a live pharmaceutical facility in Leek, Staffordshire.
- Remove and replace existing damaged, obsolete and corroded process pipework.
- Install new pipework lines to new production machinery and equipment.
- Install 1" to 4" OD thin-wall stainless steel pipework, with schedule 10 stainless steel pipework up to 4" diameter and carbon steel up to 6".
- Fit associated pipe supports and brackets and assist other pipe fitters as necessary.
About You / Qualifications
- Based in Staffordshire or within a commutable distance of ST13 5QJ.
- Experience fitting stainless steel and carbon steel pipework in a food, drink or petrochemical processing environment.
- Strong all-round mechanical fitting experience.
- CSCS or CCNSG and IPAF preferred.
