You’ll support our continuing growth in the North East and North West of England, with opportunities to work on a wide range of projects, including Technical Due Diligence and Forensic Surveying commissions, across different sectors. Our team works in a hybrid style, this being a mix of site working, home working and office working from our Stoke, Manchester or North Tyneside office bases.
Joining a diverse multi-disciplinary team, you’ll work with colleagues who have different levels of experience and qualifications. As well as strengthening your skills in Building Surveying and general project management, you’ll get the opportunity to develop specialist knowledge in areas like Net Zero and Fire Safety.

What you’ll do:
• Assist with developing detailed briefs in collaboration with the client and senior colleagues
• Carry out site surveys (including measured surveys, condition surveys and defect analysis)
• Undertake design and specification work and assist with preparing tender information
• Assist with administering building contracts
• Work on all aspects of professional surveying (including condition surveys, specific defect analysis, party wall matters, dilapidations & passive fire protection surveys)
• Liaise with clients, contractors and other consultants (internal and external)
• Participate in our graduate training programme towards professional qualifications
What we’re looking for:
• BSc in Building Surveying or equivalent
• Working towards APC Final Assessment with RICS, CIOB, similar, or recently qualified.
• Have at least 1-2 years’ experience of advising on commercial properties either in public or private sector
• A good communicator and relationship builder
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
• Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
• Good AutoCAD skills and ability to work with new software and platforms to improve efficiency
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to demonstrate flexible approach to work and willingness to travel/stay away from home for periods as may be required.
