An exciting contract opportunity has arisen for an experienced Stress Engineer to support a major aircraft wing manufacturing facility based in Broughton. You’ll be working as part of an on-site Plant Engineering team, providing stress analysis support directly aligned to live manufacturing and concession activity.

This role is night shift only and would suit a Stress Engineer with strong aircraft structures experience.

  • 30% night shift uplift applied to hourly rate
  • Pay Rate: £46 – £52 per hour Umbrella DOE (PAYE equivalent rates also available)
  • Contract Duration: 6 months

Responsibilities:

  • Perform static structural analysis on metallic, composite and hybrid aircraft structures
  • Produce strength margins and reserve factors in line with approved aerospace methods and sizing processes
  • Support repair and concession activity, including stress analysis for acceptance and disposition
  • Ensure compliance with airworthiness requirements for aircraft structures
  • Work closely with on-site engineering and manufacturing teams within a fast-paced plant environment
