A leading global engineering organisation is seeking an experienced Supply Officer/Supply Chain Coordinator to join their fast-paced Supply Chain function in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, has strong supplier management capability, and can drive performance across an international supply chain network.
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of suppliers supporting major wing programmes, ensuring on-time delivery, effective risk mitigation, and accurate order book management.
Key Responsibilities- Daily management of supplier performance using digital and automated tools.
- Identifying risks within the supply chain and driving mitigation activities.
- Demand and forecast control, ensuring accurate supply planning.
- Communicating effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Prioritising supply chain activities to meet operational needs.
- Challenging and improving supplier performance when necessary.
- Leading supplier recovery and improvement actions.
- Managing MRP Master Data and overseeing order book accuracy.
- Coordinating Supplier Working Parties and transnational collaboration.
- Acting as first point of contact for operational supply chain queries.
- Supporting stock optimisation and logistics transformation projects.
- Experience in Supply Chain.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes.
- MRP experience with SAP in a manufacturing environment.
- Confident using digital tools and data-driven decision making.
- Experience working across international teams is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving capability.
- Ability to work autonomously and hit the ground running.
- Google Suite experience desirable.
