About the Role: We are looking for experienced Structures Technicians / Sheet Metal Workers to join our team at Fleetlands, working on the Chinook helicopter program. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-profile rotary-wing project in a well-equipped facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural repairs, modifications, and assembly on Chinook airframes.
- Carry out sheet metal work including drilling, reaming, countersinking, riveting (solid, blind, hi-lok), and fitting parts to engineering drawings.
- Work with alloys and composites, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards and safety requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in aircraft structural or sheet metal work.
- Previous rotary-wing experience (Chinook preferred) highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of fastener installation, sealant application, and composite repair practices advantageous.
