We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a leading aerospace manufacturing organisation based in Portsmouth. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high‑performing quality team supporting the delivery of safety‑critical products to global aerospace standards.
The Role
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring products meet stringent engineering and regulatory requirements. Working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for inspecting components and assemblies at various stages of production, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect sub‑assemblies and finished products throughout the manufacturing lifecycle
- Verify components against engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality criteria
- Use a range of inspection and measuring equipment to ensure conformity
- Support production teams to maintain quality standards and customer satisfaction
- Work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams within engineering and manufacturing
About You
- Proven experience in a quality inspection role within an aerospace manufacturing environment
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience using a variety of inspection and measurement tools
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, or CAA Part 21G standards
- Previous aerospace inspection experience
- Relevant engineering or quality qualifications (advantageous)

Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:15
Friday: 07:30 - 16:00
Every other Friday off
