Senior HSE Advisor to join their team on an interim basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HSE professional to make an immediate impact within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
Due to the imminent departure of the current postholder, we are looking to appoint someone as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with UK Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and company standards.
- Lead and support audits, inspections and workplace monitoring activities.
- Manage risk assessments, COSHH assessments and safe systems of work.
- Support incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Maintain HSE records, reporting systems and compliance documentation.
- Conduct shop floor inspections, behavioural observations and workforce engagement activities.
- Deliver practical HSE guidance and support to operational teams.
- Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the site.
About You
- NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum requirement).
- Previous experience within manufacturing, engineering, aerospace or similar industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation.
- Experience conducting risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Comfortable working both strategically and hands-on within a production environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
