Carbon60 is currently looking for a Supply Officer to join a client of ours based in Broughton. This position is a contract role which will last until December 2026. As the Supply Officer, you will be responsible for the daily management of the supplier portfolio, utilising existing business tools and future digitisation means. You will anticipate risks and drive mitigation actions, manage demand and forecasting, and communicate effectively with internal customers, team colleagues, and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities of the Supply Officer role:

  • Prioritise and challenge supplier performance where appropriate
  • Lead and drive supplier recoveries
  • Understand and define the optimal ordering characteristics and strategy
  • Specify and use process automation
  • Utilize data management tools to drive decisions in the supply chain
  • Manage the order book and maintain MRP master data
  • Coordinate supplier working parties and interact transnationally with suppliers

To be successful as the Supply Officer, you should have solid experience in one of the following areas: supply chain, procurement, manufacturing engineering, or design engineering. Proficiency in the use and deployment of digital solutions/tools, as well as expertise in MRP and experience with SAP in a manufacturing environment, are highly desirable.
