Supply Chain Quality Manager β Contract Role Location: Filton (Hybrid β approx. 60% onsite) Contract Duration: Until 1st November 2026 (with potential for extension) IR35 Status: Inside IR35 β Off-Payroll Working Rules Apply Hours: 35 per week (4.5-day working pattern, flexible between 7am-7pm) Pay Rates: Β£37.02 per hour (Umbrella) Β£27.68 per hour (PAYE) About the Role An excellent contract opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Quality Manager to support supplier performance and ensure consistent delivery across quality, cost, and schedule. This role focuses on supplier oversight, operational performance, risk management, and ensuring compliance to established quality standards. Key Responsibilities Act as the main interface for supplier operational activities. Lead supply chain and quality elements of contracts, driving On-Time and On-Quality performance. Assess suppliers during tendering and support selection decisions. Ensure suppliers meet required approvals and certifications. Monitor new product introductions and industrial maturity before serial production. Evaluate supplier capability, capacity, and performance; support supplier development. Identify industrial risks and lead mitigation planning. Manage short-term recovery plans and performance improvement projects. Report on supplier operational performance using standard supply chain management tools. Support compliance with internal and external quality standards (APQP, QMS, Nadcap, EMS, etc.). Occasional travel may be required. Skills & Experience Required 5 years\β experience in Supply Chain, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar. Strong understanding of supply chain fundamentals and supplier governance. Knowledge of APQP, Transfer of Work, audits, and quality standards. Engineering background beneficial. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. Ability to work autonomously and within multicultural teams.
