Software Engineer (ADA) - Integration & Test
Location: Bristol
Rate: Β£70 per hour Umbrella
Contract Length: 12 Months (Extension Likely)
Working Pattern: Full-Time Onsite - Bristol, Filton
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Software Engineer with strong ADA development and integration testing expertise to join a leading defence and engineering organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, mission-critical software systems, contributing to the development, integration, verification and validation of advanced technology programmes within a secure and highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and verify software using ADA and associated toolsets.
- Conduct software integration, verification and validation activities.
- Perform testing and debugging on target hardware platforms.
- Work with complex simulation environments to validate software functionality.
- Support the full software engineering lifecycle from design through to test and delivery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to resolve software and integration issues.
- Ensure software solutions meet quality, performance and compliance requirements.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Commercial experience developing software in ADA.
- Experience using AdaCore toolsets.
- UML and Rhapsody experience.
Desirable Experience
- Knowledge of DOORS requirements management.
- Experience using IBM Engineering Workflow Management (EWM).
