This company is seeking a talented Packing Operative to join their dynamic team at their Chalgrove site. As a Packing Operative , you\’ll play a vital role in ensuring the successful production of life-saving ejector seats. About the Role As a Packing Operative , you\’ll be responsible for the packing and palletising of cartridge sets and rocket motors, which are essential components of the ejector seats produced on-site. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be crucial in this role, as you\’ll be handling materials and goods with the utmost care. Key responsibilities of the Packing Operative position include: Ensuring all materials, goods, and stock are properly packaged, labelled, and prepared for dispatch Updating the SAP system to accurately track the progress of packing operations and the preparation of goods for dispatch Receiving and reconciling all incoming materials, goods, and stock, and ensuring they are correctly marked and safely stored Maintaining and operating the packing area machinery and equipment to ensure they are fit for purpose Complying with all relevant health and safety regulations and handling instructions What We\’re Looking For The ideal candidate for the Packing Operative role will have the following skills and experience: Basic packing experience gained in a manufacturing or stores environment A good understanding of health and safety policies and procedures Familiarity with interpreting engineering drawings Dangerous Goods training for air, sea, and road transportation A strong attention to detail and a positive, problem-solving attitude If you\’re passionate about making a difference and contributing to the production of life-saving equipment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
