About the Opportunity
Carbon60 are supporting a leading aerospace engineering and manufacturing organisation in the recruitment of an experienced Finance Business Partner to support high-value procurement activity within a complex, fast-paced operational environment. This position will play a key role in providing financial insight, commercial support, and strategic guidance to procurement teams. Operating as part of a wider transnational function, you will work closely with category leads to influence commercial strategy, support tendering decisions, evaluate supplier negotiations, and ensure robust financial governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a Finance Business Partner to procurement operational teams, providing financial advice and commercial insight.
- Lead financial assessment for tender processes and analyse the impact of procurement decisions.
- Support supplier negotiations, claims, and commercial reviews.
- Manage annual budget cycles, quarterly forecasts, and operational financial planning.
- Produce accurate financial reporting, highlighting risks and performance trends.
- Challenge operational performance and support continuous improvement across procurement activities.
- Support investment cases and project proposals with detailed financial evaluation.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA preferred) with 5+ years' post-qualification experience in a manufacturing or commercial environment.
- Strong background in finance business partnering within large organisations.
- Experience working in operational finance teams with strong analytical and communication skills.
- SAP experience or familiarity with similar financial systems.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Commercial negotiation capability and a continuous-improvement mindset.

- Hours: 35 hours per week
- Travel: Occasional.
