Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter or Sheet Metal Worker looking for your next challenge? Our client is seeking a talented individual to join their team and contribute to the maintenance and customization of their fleet of helicopters. As a Mechanical Fitter / Sheet Metal Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the continued safety and airworthiness of the company\’s helicopters. This role involves a diverse range of tasks, including manufacturing electrical looms, assembling avionic systems, and conducting off-aircraft work in the workshops. Key Responsibilities: – Accomplish work assigned by the Installation Supervisor or Certifying Engineer – Maintain high standards to ensure the safe operation of the aircraft – Interpret design drawings and manufacture parts from sheet metal – Install brackets, doubler plates, and other components as part of modification projects – Carry out repairs to aircraft structures, both on and off the aircraft The ideal candidate for this Mechanical Fitter / Sheet Metal Worker role will have: – Completed a formal aviation apprenticeship or related discipline – Experience working on Airbus Helicopters – Proficiency in interpreting detailed mechanical drawings and associated data – Hands-on experience in manufacturing brackets and fittings from sheet metal – Expertise in riveting techniques and the ability to carry out riveting on and off the aircraft If you are interested in this position, please apply with your updated CV and one of our consultants will be in touch.
