About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our team for a 6-month contract in Leeds. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, priming, and applying industrial coatings to a variety of surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet safety and durability standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers.
  • Mix and apply paints, coatings, and finishes according to specifications.
  • Operate spray equipment and other painting tools safely and effectively.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an industrial painter in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Knowledge of different paint types, coatings, and application techniques.
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
