Carbon60 is currently looking for a General Services Manager to join a client of ours based in Broughton. This position will be working with a leading Aerospace manufacturing company. This position offers a minimum of a 6 month contract and offers hourly rates of:
- £30.23 per hour PAYE
- £40.00 per hour Umbrella
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
- Responsible for supporting General (Soft) Services ensuring any compliance, service delivery and site adherence.
- Supporting management of the variety of Service Providers, working alongside other General Services teams to the agreed KPIs in line with contractual obligations and Airbus process and procedures.
- Budget Management supporting annual Opex targets with management of risk and opportunities.
- Attendance at custodian reviews / customer meetings to ensure communication of activities, obtain feedback and implement necessary actions when required.
- Supporting representation of the UK in transnational activities within General Services scope of activities in defining the transnational strategy.
- Operationally this position holder will deliver directly or support the operational services that enable site and plants to operate in cooperation with internal and external partners to improve service delivery.
- Support through administration of purchase orders, requisitions and invoicing would also be part of the role.
ABOUT YOU
- Ability to manage workload with agility and deliver to deadlines.
- Health and Safety awareness and interest.
- Competent in working to the requirements of processes and procedures.
- Financial Management - awareness of Procurement/Purchasing and Tender Processes is advantageous.
- Stakeholder management experience.
- Ability to work autonomously where required.
- Experience of Facility Management or Airbus FM Deliverable would be advantageous.
