Production Scheduler Wanted - Broughton, Chester 12 month contract. Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Scheduler to join our client's dynamic team. This company is a leading manufacturer known for its innovative products and commitment to excellence. As the successful Production Scheduler, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of all aircraft part commodities.

Key Responsibilities of the Production Scheduler:

  • Support operations for the delivery of all aircraft part commodities to achieve build and meet cost and delivery targets
  • Work as part of a multifunctional team on projects aimed at improving business performance and address any day-to-day issues
  • Provide support to the Operational Business Areas to enable the financial man hours per set to be achieved
  • Anticipate and respond to rate changes, and manage risks and opportunities
  • Support and enable Operational & Functional deliverable, acting with agility to any changes in production
  • Ensure the Airbus Operating System (AOS) is deployed and in all relevant areas
  • Build a strong interface with Airbus Procurement to mitigate supplier performance risks
  • Ensure a strong interface with the Airbus Logistics Service Provider to adhere to logistical processes

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Advanced Google Sheets skills, including macros and data manipulation
  • Excellent organisational skills and a results-driven, logical approach to achieving tasks and objectives
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop effective solutions
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team
  • Preference for candidates with SAP Planning & Logistics knowledge and experience
